Biography

Mrs. Marie Kilgore Bell, 88 of Bremen passed away July 15, 2010.

Mrs. Bell was born on June 12, 1922 in Cleburne County, Alabama the daughter of the late Jesse James Kilgore and Nancy Godwin Kilgore.

A retired seamstress of Sewell Manufacturing Company and Member of 1st Baptist Church of Bremen.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Harold Bell, Sr, a son, Freddy L. Bell and her brothers, and sisters.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Hal & Mary Ellen Bell of Kennesaw; daughter in law, Margie E. Bell of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Dawn Bell Phillips and Tommy Phillips of Villa Rica, Jennifer & John Henson of NY, NY and Amanda Bell of Kennesaw; great grandchildren, Zanna Bell and Madison Phillips of Villa Rica and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 17 at 2pm from First Baptist Church of Bremen with Brother Herman Parker officiating. Music will be provided by Andy Fowler, Sue Ezzell and Sara Calhoun. Don Bell, Jim Agan, Cary Lee, Will Parrish, Norman Owens and Terry Kilgore will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Church.
