Mr. Noel Franklin Morris, Jr., 75 of Bushmill Road, Bremen passed away June 23, 2010.
Mr. Morris was born on January 9, 1935 in Haralson County, Georgia the son of the late Noel Franklin Morris, Sr and Dera Nixon Morris.
A retiree of Georgia Department of Transportation, Veteran of The United States Navy and Member of Midway Baptist Church of Haralson County.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Wingo Hurst.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy H. Morris of Bremen; children, Tony & Jana Morris of Woodland, AL and Frank Morris of Bremen; grandchildren, Kayla Michelle & Dustin Shelton of Woodland, AL, Kasey Lynn Morris of Woodland, AL and Megan Rose Morris of Bremen.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 25, 2010 between the hours of 5 & 8 pm.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11 am from Midway Baptist Church of Haralson County with Reverend Mark Haney and Reverend Bill Brown officiating. Music will be provided by Chie Smith. Tricy Lybrand, Johnny Nixon, Ed Lands, Tom Hubbard, Andrew House, Richard Bryant, Dustin Shelton and Phillip Swafford will serve as pallbearers. Paul Bailey, Jack Camp, Gene Jolley, Keith Robinson, Larry Ivey and Ronnie Joiner will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Interment will follow in Bremen City Cemetery.
