Biography

Mr. Robert “Bobby” Earl Chandler, Jr., 78 of Glenloch Road, Roopville, formerly of Bremen passed away February 23, 2010.

Mr. Chandler was born on April 6, 1931 in Haralson County, Georgia the son of the late Robert Chandler, Sr. and Minnie Rose Coleman Chandler.

A retired supervisor of Anaconda Aluminum and Veteran of The United States Army.

Survivors include children, Lori C. Reid and special friend Dean Redden of Tallapoosa and Carla C. & Ricky Williams of Roopville; former wife, Joyce Kiker Chandler of Bremen; brother, Alton Chandler of Bremen; grandchildren, Kayla Williams and special friend Eddie Gray and Richie Williams; great grandson, Levi Hunter Gray and special friends and staff at Cottage Landing.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 26, 2010 at 11 am from The Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Munroe and Reverend Gary Stewart officiating. James Hughes, Fred Adams, Ricky Williams, Dean Redden, Richard Williams and Morgan Driver will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
