Sammy Shepard Brannon

January 5, 1945 - January 30, 2010

Sammy Brannon of Meadow Creek Circle,
Bremen passed away Saturday, January
30 2010 in a local hospital. He was
born in Haralson County, January 5,
1945, son of the late Lester Brannon
and Mozelle Payton Brannon. Mr. Brannon
was a retired supervisor for the Hunter
Construction Company.

Survivors include wife, Carol Entrekin
Brannon, Bremen: son and daughter-in-
law, Brad and Kim Brannon, Bremen;
daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and
Randy Underwood of Bremen, Sandy and
Kendall Robinson of Tallapoosa; sister
and brother-in-law, Judy and Harvey
Pierce of Waco; brother, Jimmy Brannon
of Buchanan; mother-in-law, Eva Mae
Entrekin of Bremen and seven
grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, February 1 at
2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower
Funeral Home with Dr. Allen Wilburn
officiating. Payton Carroll, John
Edwards, Gary Garner, Mitchell Garner,
Lek Brannon and Roger Kimball served
as pallbearers. Michael Carroll will
serve as honorary pallbearer.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn
Memorial Park with Reverend Richard
Brannon in charge of the graveside
service.
