Obituary for William (Bill) Loyd Cook

William (Bill) Loyd Cook, 79 of Temple passed away on June 15, 2017.

Mr. Cook was born on June 3, 1938 in Falkville, AL the son of the late Silas Henry Cook and Ollie Ola Reeves Cook.

He was a retired Truck Driver and member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Douglasville.

Survivors include his wife, Mable Williams Cook of Temple; children, Mable “Diane” Woods of Douglasville, William Franklin & Tona Cook of Bremen, Phillip and Candie Cook of Temple; Sisters, Peggy & Roy Williams of Temple and Faye Cook Christen of N.C.; brothers, Levon & Patty Cook of FL and Lonnie Cook of Waco; grandchildren, Deborah & Dean Gillespie, Becky & James Sticher, Alisha & Michael Monstvil, Matthew Cook & Victoria, Levi & Andrea Cook and Lee Cook; great-grandchildren, Chase Michael, Caleb Sticher, Logan Gillespie, Jade Watson, Skylar Watson, Lyla Gillespie and Will Monstvil; great-great grandchild, Carmyn Michael.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 17, 2017 between the hours of 6 & 8 pm.

Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 3 pm from The Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen with Pastor Buddy Gillman. Matthew Cook, Levi, Cook, Lee Cook, James Sticher, Dean Gillespie, Michael Monstvil and Chase Michael will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
