Obituary for Reverend Larry Allen Keaton

Reverend Larry Allen Keaton of Bremen passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 in an Atlanta hospital. He was born in Haralson County, March 30, 1947, son of the late Monroe Keaton and Mandie ‘Keaton’ Keaton. Mr. Keaton was a member of the Woodland First Congregational Methodist Church and was retired as the Manager at Industrial Asphalt in Tyrone.

Survivors include his wife of almost 52 years, Faye Garner Keaton of Bremen; children, Pamela Keaton Brown of Bremen, Bonnie and John Sanders of Bremen, Chris and Amanda Keaton of Tallapoosa; seven grandchildren, Kaci and William Walton, Brandon Sanders, Kyle Brown, Jared Sanders, Harlei Keaton, Halle Keaton, Luke Keaton and three great grandchildren, Kamden Walton, Bexley Walton and Connor Walton.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 PM.

Services will be April 21 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Anthony Bivins, Reverend Anthony Puckett and Reverend Joel Norton officiating. The following will also be speaking, Bonnie Sanders and Chris Keaton. Music will be furnished by the children and grandchildren. Interment will follow in Union Hill Methodist Church Cemetery with Doug Keaton, Curtis Keaton, Andy Keaton, Alan Keaton, Randy Keaton, Jason Rowell, Billy Rowell, Gene Parson and Ricky Keaton serving as pallbearers.
