Obituary for Paul McKinley Stepp. Jr.

Paul McKinley Stepp, Jr. of Bremen passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Atlanta, February 25, 1948, son of the late Paul McKinley Stepp, Sr. and Willie Mae Carter Pierce. Mr. Stepp was employed by Texaco Swifti as a truck driver and retired in 2013.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, David Pierce, Chester Pierce and Danny Pierce.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Gail Blackmon Stepp of Bremen; children, Judy Evans of Buchanan, Randall Lee and Dana Cox of Bremen, Linda Douglas of Andalusia, AL, Paul (P.J.) and Erin Stepp of Bremen; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; sisters, Linda and Kenneth Pierce of Waco, Barbara Ann Hamilton of Bremen, Deborah Haffy and Annette Pierce, both of Oklahoma, Tammy and Paul Dandy of Oklahoma and two brothers, Jerry Watts of Waco and James and Melinda Pierce of Colorado.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 1, 2017 from the Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Davey West officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Brian King, Tristen King, James Pierce, Jimmy Warren, Ray Madden and Kenneth Pierce.
