Obituary for Mary "Rose" Moore

Mary Rose Propes Moore of Bremen passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 in a local hospital. She was born in Jacksonville, Alabama May 3, 1929, daughter of the late Harvey Ragan Propes and Susie Imogene England Propes. Mrs. Moore was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bremen, a member of the Golden Tones Choir and bed-baby preschool Sunday School Teacher for 63 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby H. Moore; son-in-law, Conal Barrow and two sisters, Nadine Traylor and Joyce Spivey.

Survivors include her children, Keith and Allison Moore of Peachtree City, Tamara Barrow of Bremen, Rosemary and Richard Barrett of Bremen; grandchildren, Katie Barrow, Pensacola, FL,
Leigh Anne and Josh Harwell, Peachtree City, Eddie and Sarah Barrett of Covington, Kristie and J. R. Wimbish of Villa Rica, Sallie Barrett, Atlanta, Susie and Corey Coats, Bremen, Mary Beth and Hunter Bragg of Nashville, TN; seven great grandchildren; a sister and her spouse, Edna and Jimmy Arrington of Leeds, AL; three nieces and five nephews.

The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 12 noon until 1:30 PM.

Services will be Friday, November 24 at 2:00 PM from the Bremen First Baptist Church with Brother Herman Parker and Dr. Keith Moore officiating. Music will be furnished by the church choir under the direction of Andy Fowler accompanied by Sara Calhoun and Sue Ezzell. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Dale Nix, Cliff Coats, Vann Pelt, Mike Murphy, Ed Hogan, Johnny Barrett, David Haney and Donnie Arp. Interment will follow in Bremen City Cemetery.
Flowers are welcome, but for those who desire, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
