Obituary for Linda Moore Williams

Linda Moore Williams of Temple passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in an Atlanta hospital.She was born in Villa Rica, May 1, 1945, daughter of the late George Franklin Moore and Lois Timmons Moore. Linda was retired from CB&T Bank, where she was Senior Vice President and was in charge of Operations and Compliance. She was a graduate of Temple High School and a member of First Baptist Church of Villa Rica.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Padgett and a brother, Bill Moore.

Survivors include her spouse, Sharon Mobley of Temple; a niece, Carole Ann Padgett and three nephews, Steve and Dee Padgett, Stan and Valeri Padgett and Randy Moore.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Services will be Saturday, May 12 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Brother Herman Parker and Reverend Larry Boswell officiating. Mrs. Jane Boss will provide the eulogy and music will be furnished by Morgan May accompanied by Sue Ezzell. Her Sunshine Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Joyce Dewberry, Tamara Barrow, Linda Patterson, Jane Henson, Kathy Baker, Gary Thomas, Michael Johnson and Dion White serving as pallbearers.
