Obituary for Leverne O. Williams, Jr.

Leverne O.Williams, Jr. of Bowdon, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in a local hospital. He was born in Bremen, August 20, 1962, son of the late Leverne O. Williams, Sr. and Bobbie Carolyn Littlefield Williams. He worked as a foreman with Pike Electric Company.

Survivors include two sons, Jonathon Williams of Bremen, Gregory Williams, Bremen; grandchildren, Saylin Williams, Taylor Williams and Logan Williams, all of Bremen; two sisters, Carolyn Williams of Bremen, Tammie and Fred Bobbitt of Warm Springs and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Services will be Thursday, August 10 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Gerald Sailors officiating. Jay Mason, Brian Ware, Josh Williams, Shawn Meeks, Fred Bobbitt, Billy Patterson, Tim Adams and Marcus Butler will serve as pallbearers. The following will serve as honorary pallbearers, John Adams, Jonathon Vaughn, Taylor Williams, Murray Fielder and Logan Williams. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
