Obituary for Kathy Hatchett

Kathy Jane Hatchett of Waco passed away at her residence Saturday, March 10, 2018. She was born in Haralson County, July 2, 1950, daughter of Versie Lee Cash Sanders. Mrs. Hatchett was a member of the Waco Baptist Church and owned and operated her Food Catering Service.

She was preceded in death by a sister Brenda Suit and a brother, Billy Sanders.

Survivors include her husband, Jarrell Hatchett of Waco; children, Debbie Hatchett Sidler of Bremen, Steve and Susan Hatchett of Bremen, Jason and Megan Hatchett, Bremen, Jonathan and Erinne Hatchett, Bremen and Jeff Hatchett of LaGrange; her mother, Versie Lee Cash Sanders of Waco; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; brothers, Mike and Susan Sanders of Peachtree City, Bobby and Carole Sanders of Carrollton and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Services will be Tuesday, March 13 at 2:00 PM from the Waco Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Hatchett and Reverend Ricky Shadrix officiating. Music will be furnished by Mike and Shelby Smith and Johnny Wright. Justin Sanders, Cole Sanders, Matthew Hatchett, Jonah Hatchett, L. C. Guice and Reagan Mabry will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Clay Nix, Ty Cartwright, John Cartwright, Chris Cartwright, Aaron Coalson, Justin Graham, Bryan Graham and Scotty Coalson. Interment will follow in Waco Cemetery.
