Obituary for Jimmie Lou Brown

Jimmie Lou Brown of Bowdon passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 in an Atlanta hospital. She was born in Bowdon, June 29, 1934, daughter of the late John William Robinson and Janie Minerva Eason Robinson. She was a member of the Kansas Baptist Church and retired after thirty-plus years as a supervisor for Koffee Kart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brown and six brothers, Hugh Robinson, Jerral Robinson, George Robinson, Roy Robinson, Jack Robinson and Curtis Robinson.
Survivors include her children, Judy and Donny Thompson of Waco, Debra and Bobby Downs of Bowdon, Larry and Cathy Brown of Heflin, AL, Barry and Annette Brown of Bowdon; seventeen grandchildren and twenty plus great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Kate Robinson and Linda Robinson, both of Waco.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM
The services will be Sunday, February 25 at 2:00 PM from Kansas Baptist Church with Reverend Randall Eidson and Reverend John Lee officiating. Marty Robinson, Steve Robinson, Chris Moon, Tyler Kerr, Allen Robinson and Eddie Moon will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Kansas Baptist Church Cemetery.
