Obituary for Iver Carpenter Clark

Iver Carpenter Clark of Bremen passed away Sunday morning, April 2, 2017 in a local health facility. She was born in Cleburne County, Alabama, April 12, 1922, daughter of the late James David Carpenter and Bessie Hicks Carpenter. Mrs. Clark was a forty year retiree of the Sewell Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bremen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joe Jones and five brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy C. and Jack Ware of Bremen, Brenda and Tony Fuller of Whitesburg; two granddaughters, eight great grandchildren and (1) great, great grandson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Services will be Tuesday, April 4 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Mason Bush officiating. Tony Raines, Bobby Gresham, Kenneth Spearman, Bobby Brannon, Richard Harrison and Michael Rosser will serve as pallbearers. The grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
