Obituary for Helen Ann Gilbert Passmore

Helen Ann Passmore of Bremen passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Ludowici, November 24, 1931, daughter of the late Earnest Joseph Gilbert and Ona Bell Sallett Gilbert. Mrs. Passmore was a retired employee of Comer Apparel in Bremen and a member of the Mount Holly Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Andrews Passmore and two sons, Roland Passmore and Ernie Passmore.

Survivors include her children, Daniel Passmore of Bremen, John Passmore of Bremen, Ona Bell and Charles Jones of Grovetown, Ellie Mooney of Bremen and Estella Batchelor of Augusta; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, July 3 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home with Bishop Evett Guyton officiating. Jim Eads, Daniel Passmore, John Passmore, Justin King, Brandon Weeks, Dave Weeks and Ann Marie Eads will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Hightower Funeral Home of Bremen is in charge of the local arrangements.
