Obituary for Frances Alleene Crowder

Frances “Alleene” Barker Crowder, 67 of Bremen passed away on June 11, 2017.
Mrs. Crowder was born on February 24, 1950 in Bremen, Georgia the daughter of the late Willie Loyd Barker and Willie Blanche Edmerson Barker.

She was a retired Custodian of H.A. Jones Elementary School.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Crowder, daughter, Savita Crowder, sister, Alice Dix and brother Ricky Barker.

Survivors include her children, Jessica Crowder Blevins of Gainesville, Tina Crowder of Bremen and Marcellea and Gardner Dorsey of Carrollton; sisters, Pamela Barker of Bremen, Gloria and William Parham of Bremen; brother, Randy Barker of Bremen; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 between the hours of 4 & 8 pm.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11 am from Hightower’s Chapel with Reverend Steven L. Edmerson officiating. Boss Dobbs, Kenyatta Dobbs, Jeff Edmerson, Tamarik Glenn, Trevon Kidd, Trevarius Kidd and Alonzo Edmerson will serve as pallbearers. Flowers girls will be Amesha Dobbs, Shamela Scott, Shavona Scott, Takeitha Weaver and Tracie Edmerson.

Interment will follow in Bremen City Cemetery.
