Obituary for Cynthia 'Cindy' D. South

Cynthia ‘Cindy’ D. South of Temple passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 in a local hospital. She was born in Carrollton, April 27, 1962, daughter of Sandra Rollins Armstrong and the late Wayne Baker.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Greg Baker; a half-brother, Andy Baker; step-father, Jimmy Parrish, Sr. and niece, Kelsey Parrish.

Survivors include her mother, Sandra Armstrong of Temple; daughters, Heather Suzanne and Michael Brown of Carrollton, Amy Leanne South of Carrollton; fiance’, Troy Williams of Temple; half-sister, Tonya Baker of Mobile, AL; brother, Jim and Connie Parrish, Jr. of Temple and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5 until 8 PM.

Services will be Sunday, March 19 at 2:00 PM from the Center Point United Methodist Church with Reverend Mark Williams and Reverend Jamie Rollins officiating. Music will be furnished by Amy Rollins. Ralph Parrish, Justin Parrish, Lawrence Parrish, Doug Morrow, Jay Brown, Jeff Baker, Dale South, Wendell Ethridge and Ron Gipson will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Center Point Cemetery with Reverend Bill Tidwell officiating.
