Obituary for Clyde Thomas Johnson

Mr. Clyde Thomas Johnson, 77 of Waco passed away on August 7, 2017.

He was born on October 21, 1939 in Cleburne County, Alabama the son of the late Emery Johnson and Dorsey Holdbrooks Johnson.

Clyde was a retired machine mechanic, member of the Army Reserves and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, David Dwayne Johnson; brothers, Wayne Johnson, Cranston Johnson and Lloyd Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Freeman Johnson of Waco; daughter, Denise Johnson Fowler and Bill Fowler, Jr. of Roopville; step-daughter, Ronda and Mark AuClair of Carrollton; sisters, Jan & Mike Clayton of Tallapoosa, Jacqueline Robinson of Waco, JoAnn Patterson of Waco and Kathleen & Ivan Garner of Tallapoosa; grandchildren, Ashley & Robert Tolbert of Carrollton, Jordan & Daniel Kinnard of Newnan, Brannon Fowler of Roopville and Andrew AuClair of Carrollton; one great-grandchild, Nora Tolbert of Carrollton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 between the hours of 5 & 8 pm.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen with Pastor Todd Wright officiating. Eulogy will be provided by Bill Fowler, Jr and also speaking will be Marty Robinson and Danny Robinson.
