Obituary for Charles 'Michael' Moore

Charles’ Michael’ Moore of Temple passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 in a local health facility. He was born in Chattooga County, December 10, 1950, son of the late James Mike Moore and Jonell Weaver Moore. Mr. Moore was a Baptist by Faith and a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was in the construction business for more than twenty-five years and owned and operated Moore & Associates, Inc. He was an active member of the Talley Mountain Golf Course.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Sonja Moore and his mother-in-law, Nadine Williams Cole.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Cole Moore of Temple; a son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Julie Moore of Temple and a daughter, Meghan Moore of Asheville, NC.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Services will be Wednesday, March 8 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Boswell and Reverend Mark Haney officiating. Music will be furnished by Louanne Hutcheson. Nicholas Moore, Anthony Cole, Scott Tidmore, John Bass, Lamar McBurnett and Gary Lee will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
