Obituary for Artell Peacock Morrow

Mrs. Artell L. Peacock Morrow, age 98 of Southside, AL, formerly of Bremen, passed peacefully to her Heavenly home on Sunday, August 6, 2017. She was born in Geraldine, AL, March 28, 1919, daughter of the late Early Peacock and Lizzie Stevenson Peacock. Mrs. Morrow was a member of the Rainbow City Church of God in Gadsden and a retired employee of the Hubbard Company in Bremen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harce Morrow; a granddaughter, Denise Cook; brother-in-law, Max Osbourne; a niece, Gina Osbourne and a nephew, Terry Davis.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Darlene Morrow of Southside, AL; four grandchildren, Joey and LaDeena Morrow, ShaRay Calhoun, Ray Morrow, Jr. and Justin Jacobs;
fifteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren and a sister, Cora Osbourne.

We would like to express our appreciation to the Caregivers; Connie Roebuck, Jay Oliver and Natosha Richards; Mcguffeys Health Care nurse, Marcie and Southern Home Hospice.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Services will be Saturday, August 12 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Minister Tim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family is accepting flower and are requesting live plants.
